I was taken off of continual monitoring yesterday evening at 5pm and TJ and I were able to go to our childbirth class. It was so good to get out of the hospital (even if it was just right across the parking lot.) When I came back the nurse told me Dr. Adam wanted me on monitoring for 1 hour 3 times per day. I was hooked up at 10pm and off at 11pm. Everything looked fine. I was hooked up again today from 10am to 11am and things didn't go so well. I had 4 contractions and his heart fell after each contraction all 4 times. The nurse called Dr. Adam and she said to put me back on continual monitoring immediately.
The nurse thought she would brighten my day this morning by letting me know I would get to move to the brand new wing of the hospital after the construction is finished on February 16. All the nurses are thrilled about the move so I guess she thought I would be excited too. All I could think was, "my goodness, that's a long time to be here."
