Our latest accomplishment

Up until this week Brasen would only sleep in his Infant Boppy Lounger. I said from the beginning of the pregnancy that he would not sleep in the bed with us. That changed after about the second week of having him home when TJ placed the Boppy at the foot of the bed and that's where Brasen slept every night until Mother's Day. With the help of a wedge that I found at Baby's R Us that fits under the crib sheets and allows him to sleep on an incline, our big boy is now in his own bed and putting himself to sleep each night. The last few nights have been the best sleep I have had in 7 weeks.

The only other sleep problem we thought we might soon be facing is that Brasen won't sleep very long without being zipped up in his Woombie. The tag says it fits babies up to 14 pounds but I am having a heck of a time getting him to fit each night. We were wondering what we were going to do until I got on their website and found that not only do they have a larger size to fit babies up to 6 months of age, but they also have a Mega Woombie that fits big kids. Brasen is set until at least Kindergarten and maybe by then they will come out with the Super Mega Woombie to get him through college!!!

Picture of the Mega Woombie from the Woombie website:

I really hope he is weaned from the Woombie before it gets to this.
