Dr. Adam came in just after midnight to perform my scan which we do every ten days. Brasen now weighs 4lbs 4oz and even though he gained 6oz in ten days, he still managed to drop from the 22 percentile down to the 15 percentile. She also said that my amniotic fluid level has dropped down to a 6. She said the only good thing about the scan was that his SD ratio was a 3. She said we are sticking to our March 24 delivery and she feels he wouldn't be able to stay in much longer than that.
Then at 6am it was time for me to go on the monitor and as soon as I got hooked up his heart rate was bouncing between 60 and 90 and there was nothing we could do to get it up. My nurse turned me from side to side but that never helps when its caused by the knot in the cord. My nurse made a call down to the nurse's station and got my oxygen going and started to get the IV pole ready. I finally raised the head of the hospital bed and his heart came back up. I was close to being right back in Labor and Delivery. I am now back on continual monitoring.
So that's my latest update. Less than a week and a half to go before Brasen's birthday (or sooner if his heart acts up again.)
