We had our ultrasound today. We have two gestational sacs but just one heartbeat. They will check on the sac without a baby on 9/9 to see if it developed a heartbeat but they are pretty sure the baby just didn't make it. It was bitter sweet to see and empty sac but then a flickering heartbeat. Words can't describe what its like to see a heartbeat inside you that isn't yours. It was amazing.My healthy little one has a heartbeat of 124 beats/minute and the ultrasound tech said she just wanted to see it over 100 beats/minute so we're looking good. TJ and I are thrilled!!!
My mom and I went shopping and I bought my first 3 pairs of maternity jeans. From what I have read, most people aren't wearing maternity clothes until like week 17 - 20 but I grew out of my jeans last week. I was told today during my ultrasound that I have lots of fluid in my tummy so I guess that's why my belly is already so big.
What a great day. Praying things only get better!!!
