This week marks our half way point...WOW!!!My body has hit the point where it feels like there is absolutely no way it can stretch any more than it already has, and I still have another 20 weeks to go. I really don't see how this is going to work. I don't know which is more uncomfortable, the stretching of my belly or the muscles pulling in my back. It's at this point that TJ always says, "But you're not complaining, are you?" No, I'm not complaining.
I feel Brasen moving throughout the day now but he is still most active at night. TJ still hasn't been able to feel him yet...I wish he could.
Week 20 - Brasen is the size of a Cantaloupe
Brasen's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill his first diaper after birth. He is hearing better now and at 20 weeks, he can cover his ears with his hands if the sounds are too loud, and he may even "jump" if any sounds startle him.
